I  have been creative most of my life, starting with short story writing in elementary school. I am a published writer and poet, and a former health and wellness blogger. Newly sixty, I am concentrating on the artist inside my soul. Exploring new mediums I am excited to see where the art life takes me!

My first painting was done in a Bob Ross class. I have segued from pen and ink drawings into digital art, making prints, stickers and other products! I recently won first, second and third place in the 2022 Placer County Fair, for my digital artwork! I've recently placed in several juried watercolor shows as well!

Van Gogh is my first love. Viewing his exhibition in the fourth grade left a lasting impression on me. 

Peter Max, Dr. Seuss, (he was an amazing painter!) have more recently inspired me with bold color and whimsical creatures!
